There are only four steps but thousands of design possibilities when you Design Your Mats™ with GG Bailey. Keep reading to learn more.
Step 1
The process starts after you enter your vehicle year, make, and model, and chose the number of mats you want (front only or a whole set). Then you choose your carpet.
Our carpets have a European velour look and are made of the strongest, most durable and trouble-free carpet fibers available today. These carpets have been developed with built-in resistance to soil and stains, so you don't have to worry about damaging them with regular use. In fact, we design our own carpet, working with the world's leading yarn suppliers. We produced the first European velour car floor mats on the planet, and they are now the standard in the world's most elegant automobile models.
As you Design Your Mats™, you can select your favorite from 10 rich colors to complement any vehicle model. Prefer a pattern? Check out our Car Couture™ collection of luxury-weight carpet in eye-catching patterns, including animal patterns, camouflage, and Oriental designs. Our Subtle Style carpet, available in beige or grey, is specially made with high-quality nylon yarn that is cut to create a simple and elegant two-tone pattern.
All our auto floor mats are made with superior stain resistance and backed with our Open Cell Foam backing to prevent mat movement. Having trouble making up your mind? Request a free swatch kit and you can see samples of each of the carpet choices in person.
Step 2
After you have picked your carpet, the next step is to choose your edging. We offer two types of edging: serging and binding, which also includes reflective and ribbon edging. Binding is a smooth fabric edge and serging is a stitched yarn edge. Both work great and present a finished look you will be proud of, so you can't go wrong with either style.
Our premium Saratoga ribbon bindings are available in polka dots, plaid and stripes, and our L.A. bindings are available in camo and reflective. Our standard binding comes in nine colors, and our serging is available in 21 colors, including a couple of two-tone choices.
You can see more examples of the edging options by clicking here.
Step 3
Once you have picked your carpet and your edging, the next step is to add some protection and choose your heelpad. This is an exclusive option that prevents wear and tear on your car floor mats with an extra thick carpeted pad that goes under the heel area on the driver's side mat. All of our heelpads are applied with a special finished edge. They come in two styles – rectangular or round – and are available in 19 different colors.
Heelpads are the best way to protect your floor mat from daily wear and extend the life of your new custom car accessory. Click here to read more about the importance of adding a heelpad when you design your custom-fit car floor mat.
GG Bailey mats are made with strong nylon fibers that are durable and long lasting. Even without a heelpad, our mats will wear better and last longer than mats made with residential carpet or any lesser quality mat.
Step 4
The final step to design your custom floor mats is the best way to really set your luxury floor mat apart from any other. Personalize it! Our personalized embroideries are available in block or script lettering and in 18 color choices that are directly embroidered into the carpet. You can choose a custom word or slogan up to 10 characters (including spaces), your initials, or the classic look of a traditional monogram or our new single letter monogram.
When you choose a monogram, be sure to enter your initials in order. We'll then take your third initial and make it the bigger letter in the middle. For example, in the graphic to the right, Leigh Dana Baldwin entered her initials as LDB to get the monogram just right. If you prefer your initials in order, all the same size, simply choose the embroidery option and type the letters as you'd like them to appear. See more examples of the options by clicking here.
We also offer embroidered logos representing sports, aquatic themes, pink ribbon, racing, and patriotism.
