Naples, FL
Voted as one of the best beaches in America, Naples is home to brilliant blue skies and warm ocean water. If basking in the sun isn’t what you are looking for, Naples has some of Florida’s finest shopping as well. Make sure to check out Waterside Shops, an upscale fashion district containing favorites such Burberry, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Saks Fifth. By night, dress up and go out for a nice dinner. Don’t be afraid to ask the locals for recommendations.
Blue Ridge, GA
Tucked away in the mountains of North Georgia, you can forget your stress the moment you step out onto your cabin’s deck for a breathtaking view. The town may be small, but it has plenty for its visitors to do. Take a walk in the historic downtown area or take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Be sure to visit the local shops and boutiques, and don’t pass up the opportunity to visit The Sweet Shoppe of Blue Ridge, a bakery that has proven to have some of the best cupcakes in America with its win on Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars.” If you are looking to get more in touch with nature, the area has a variety of outdoor activities. Niagara Falls, NY
As the name suggests, the city is built next to Niagara Falls -- the ultimate destination for lovers. Only minutes from Canada, you can quickly cross over the border to gain another view of these magnificent waterfalls. Take advantage of the many tours the area offers. A personal favorite is riding the Maid of the Mist, a boat that travels to the base of the falls for an up and close interaction. If you enjoy an adventure, travel further down the Niagara River and do some whitewater rafting. End your night by hitting up the casino and playing your hand at blackjack or poker.
San Francisco, CA
San Fran offers the perfect mix of art, intellect, relaxation, and excitement. Even those hardest to please will be satisfied with what the city has to offer. While here, you must take a sunset cruise under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The view of the sun setting behind the bridge is unforgettable. For the ultimate connection with nature, visit Glacier National Park. With over 700 miles of trails, hiking is a popular recreational activity. Or take a drive on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Plan strategically -- springtime in the mountains is brief. Even so, the park boasts hundreds of lakes and over a thousand different plant and animal species. If you are looking to get out of the city and into a rural town, visit the area. You will leave feeling fresh and rejuvenated and once again ready to take on the world!
